Rory!

Rory gets it done at Pebble Beach, and we cash in on him at +800! I’m not gonna lie I thought he was surely out of it after he shot a 70 on Friday, but he fired off a bogey-free 65 on Saturday and didn’t look back. It became pretty obvious halfway through Sunday that this was his tournament, and after that clutch eagle putt on 14, he created a lead so sizable not even he could choke it away. When Rory is playing with confidence, it is one of the highest levels of golf you will see. If he can continue striking the ball at this level he might be value if he’s priced in the +850 to +1000 range pre tournament. Its impossible to say for sure if the US open incident is actually behind him but this win was pretty convincing.

Colgate -3 @ Lehigh

For the first time since I was about 12 years old, Colgate isn’t a top dog in the patriot league, and I just refuse to accept they aren’t heavier favorites against Lehigh, who is at the bottom of the Patriot League standings. Since Keith Higgins went down for Lehigh, they are just 2-7 and already losing to Colgate once in that stretch. Colgate owns Lehigh with a 15-4 record against them in their last 19 meetups and winning their last 5 over them. Colgate is on a 3-game losing streak after getting embarrassed by Lafayette as 8.5-point home favorites. If I was rich id just pay the juice of -150 with them on the money line but I feel good playing them at -3.
