Maryland ML @ Ohio State +108

Square spot? sure. But does the other team have Derik Queen? No, no, they do not. (look how stinking cute he is btw) Maryland beat this team by 24 earlier this year, leading by as much as 40 at one point. Playing Indiana is an excellent way to judge how serious a team in the Big Ten is, Ohio State lost to them at home, while Maryland beat them on the road. I’m mostly joking, but Maryland is just the better team than Ohio State. The terps kind of have a big 3 going with Queen, Ja’kobi Gillespie (whos really come into his own recently), and JuJu Reese. The terps are 17th ORtg on kenPom and 23rd in Drtg and are 18th in net rating. Ohio State seems to live and die by the 3 specifically how Bruce Thornton shoots the 3 ball and hes shooting it a very high and possibly unsustainable high mark (15/25 over his last 4). Maryland isnt exceptional at stopping the three but they are definitely able to. Ohio state is also kind of pathetic on the glass which could allow Derik Queen to eat off second chance points. Give me the better team with the plus sign next to their name here.
NDSU -2.5 @ UMKC

Give me Carson Wentz University on the road tonight! I’ll be the first to state the obvious here, this is a long road trip for the Bison, and I can’t imagine a comfortable travel experience is within budget for them. But I don’t care! UMKC is bad, like really bad. NDSU has won 4 of their last 5 vs, the Roos (short for Kangaroos, of course), the Roos are also on a 7-game losing streak already losing to NDSU once in that stretch. UMKC is ranked an extremely pathetic 236th in KenPom Rankings, a full 120 sports behind the Bison. The Bison have some pretty impressive offensive efficiency stats ranking 4th in 3 point percentage, 42nd in assist to turnover ratio, and 39th in free throw percentage. I think its a big ask for this to be the team the Roos snap their losing streak against.
