South Dakota -2 Vs UMKC

I faded the Roos a week ago when they were at home, and it worked out nicely for me. Now, the Roos have a long road trip to South Dakota, and like real Kangaroos (I’m assuming), they do not travel well. The Roos are 2-9 on the road, while South Dakota is 11-1 at home. This is the second matchup between these two teams in 2025, with UMKC winning by 14 at home. The Roos out-rebounded the Coyotes 40-22 in that game and had 13 offensive rebounds to the Coyotes 5. Id be absolutely shocked if they put up similar numbers tonight. South Dakota actually grades out as a slightly better rebounding team than UMKC (60th in offensive rebounds to 74th). UMKC also doesn’t have a true center on their team and their leading rebounder is a 6’5″ guard. South Dakota isn’t a supper efficent team by any means but they shot the ball horribly In their last meeting vs UMKC shooting 14/47 from the field and 3/16 from three which should be better at home. I’m too poor to pay the juice on the ML but I still like them at -2.

Jacksonville State +2.5 @ Sam Houston State

Going mega square here and taking the bait, but I’m willing to pay and see this. This is a long road trip for (the real) Gamecocks, but they are 8-3 ATS on the road, and SHSU is just 1-5 ATS at home. SHSU is also 3-7 ATS as the favorite, and the Gamecocks are 5-3 as the favorite. In their first matchup, JVST entered the half down 6 and ended up outscoring SHSU by 14 in the second half to get the win. JVST mogs Sam Houston in offensive rating 117.2 (44th in the country) to 109.4 (187th in the country). I just dont think this is the team Sam Houston State snaps their 7 game losing streak against and I think JVST improves their win streak to 9 here. Im playing it safe with the points here but I like the value of +135 on the ml

2/12/25 Recap

Niagara -8 ✅

I watched this entire basketball game, making me probably one of 10 people not at the game to be able to say that. Niagara was able to cover this line without being able to buy a 3 going 3/22 from behind the arc. The Purple Eagles have this dude, Josiah Davis, and I’d be shocked if he doesn’t transfer somewhere better next year because he looked so good.
