Cantlay to win +2900

Looks to be in decent form in the small sample size of this year. Always dialed around the greens and in some wet conditions, could stick it and be set up nicely. When Cantlay is really on, he should priced more around the 1700-1900 mark so I like the value. I refuse to take Scottie, Rory aint winning two in a row, I’ve banned Morikawa, I don’t buy into this love JT has been getting from the books, and Ludvig is in bad form to start the year, leaving me to take one man.

The middle guy

Shane Lowry to win +5000

I pray I get good Shane Lowry because when he is on he is actually an unstoppable birdie machine. I like my odds to get the good Shane Lowry as he is 5th in strokes gained total to start 2025 and fired off a 65 on Saturday at Pebble Beach. Lowry doesn’t hit it particularly far off the tee but is dam accurate with his drives. What will really let me down with Shane is his short game. He was 114th in strokes gained around the green in 2024 and is 117th so far in 2025. But at +5000 I like the value here

The long shot

Justin Rose to win +13500

GIVE ME UNC!!! Is this dude 6 years away from being 50? Yes. Is he also 25th is strokes gained a total to start the year? Yes. 2024 was a bad year for Rose but he was pretty solid in his 22-23 campaign, ranking top 15th in strokes gained total for the year. Id be shocked if he has the endurance to play 72 holes of winning golf but he might get off to a good start and make things interesting
