Georgia State probably thinks they are hot shit right now, improving to a 4 game-win streak after an impressive home win over App State. A date with the Dukes on the road is a perfect spot for them to get blown out back to reality. JMU beat Georgia State by 7 on the road, and I expect a better result on their home floor today. Georgia State is worse than its record suggests, with a -8.30 net rating and an abysmal 114.8 defensive rating. Georgia State is 5-0 against the spread in their last 5 which just has to end eventually because they are not very good

Lipscomb -7.5 Vs North Alabama

Same idea as Drake yesterday, getting a good price for the better team at home because of the result of their first matchup. Also, fading a red-hot North Alabama here. In their first matchup, North Alabama won by 10, in a game where they won the turnover battle and shot 11% better from three. Despite their records and according to my glorious king Ken Pomeroy, Lipscomb grades out as the better team with a net rating of +8.64 while North Alabama has a net rating +4.30. If Lipscomb wants control over the Atlantic Sun conference they need to knock of #1 North alabama at home.
