Ill be the first to address it. Chaspicks is a little cold right now, but has that ever stopped me from firing off bets on bad college basketball teams? of course not. This is part one so I get it off before Bucknell plays

Bucknell -9 Vs. Loyola (MD)
The boys at Bucknell are hot, and they will ride this hot hand at home against a bad Loyola MD team. Bucknell is on a six-game win streak, propelling them to the #1 seed in the Patriot League. These teams faced off just a little over a week ago, and Bucknell was down 15 at one point and ended up winning by 3 on the road. Bucknell only made 3 threes on 12 attempts in that game, and they average 8.1 a night on 35.3%. Bucknell is the best (more like least bad) team in the patriot conference with a relative rating of -0.7 and Loyola MD is very close to the worst with a -10 relative rating. The metric that is really making me take Bucknell here is the killshot margin. Bucknell has gone on the most Killshots in the conference with 20 while Loyola has gone on the least with just 8 all year. Not only has Loyola gone on the least but they are tied for giving up the most with 20. At home a killshot is to be expected and Loyola is not good enough offensively (-4.6 Orate) to get back into a game when it happens.

Tennessee St -3.5 Vs Lindenwood
I think even the above-average ball knower would think I just made up the Lindenwood Lions, but they are very real and are very bad. To be fair, Tennesee State is no powerhouse, but nobody in the Ohio Valley is. Real fans of the Ohio Valley conference know there are two tiers; the bad and the really bad. The teams that fall in the bad are Southeast Missouri State, Arkansas Little Rock, SIU Edwardsville, and Tennessee State. The rest of the teams including Lindenwood fall in the really bad tier. Lindenwood has a relative rating of -13.5 and are abysmal on the road with a record of 3-12. The Lions lost on the road to the Tigers 84-76 where they were dominated in the paint and on the baords. The tigers were able to score 52 points in the paint and won the rebound battle 40-29. They shot an abysmal 3/19 from three but it didn’t matter at all. Lindenwood really shouldn’t even be in this game and were extremely lucky to beat Morehead State at home. Morehead State didnt win a single game in the month of February and were a dead team walking. Lindednwod shot 1/15 from three while giving up 10 threes. By the will of god himself they some how shot 28 free throws and made EVERY SINGLE ONE. They shoot just 68.4% from the stripe on the year and somehow went 28/28 with the season on the line. They will not have the same luck tonight and will lose by more than 4 on the road.
