Mental health update
I’m currently writing this while defying all that’s known about the human body because Collin Morikawa ripped my heart right out of my chest. Three-shot lead at one point on Sunday, and he choked….. as a further insult to my mental state, Josh Sweat leaves in free agency! Luckily, conference tournaments are starting so I’m willing to put my depression on the back burner and watch some good basketball

SDSU Mountain West tournament winners +550
The Aztecs have already played in Vegas this year when they competed in the Player’s Era festival. In this early season tournament, they beat Houston on a neutral site, which remains one of the best wins in the country. If they get past Boise, I really like them to beat New Mexico on a neutral because I really think their win in their first meeting was mostly due to their home-court advantage. This defense becomes that much more valuable in March and +550 Is too good of a value for me to pass up.

Uconn Big East Tournament Winners +340
Still, grade out as a great team, and St Johns is so due for a loss within the conference. Love them to beat Creighton if they have to play them, which gives me +340 on them in the Big East championship. When they had to play games on a neutral site to start the year, it was really really bad, but I’m choosing to ignore that. At the end of the day, it’s the back-to-back champion at +340 to beat Creighton and whoever comes out of the top half of the bracket.

Oregon Big Ten Tournament Winners +2000
I have this line at +2000, but it seems much lower everywhere else; I’d play this all the way down to +1500. Has there been a more confusing and streaky team than the Ducks? Going into conference play, they were a top-10 team in the country and ended up going on a 5 game skid at one point, losing their place in the top 25. Now the Ducks seem to be all the way back and are on a 7 game-win streak. They should have no problem against Indiana (sorry!), and then I think Michigan State is more susceptible to a loss than others think. Oregon lost to them on the road but they had them in the first half leading 50-36 at the break. Michigan state was 8/18 from three that game which is there biggest weakness as a team so when they shoot that well its hard for them to lose. This was also a game where there best player Nate Bittle took only 8 shots. Love the Ducks to stay hot and shock some people.
