The madness is about to be underway, and these future decisions are going to be huge in deciding my mental health for the next couple of weeks. I’ve neglected my schoolwork, my hygiene, and my relationships ever since the brackets were released to ensure I get these futures perfect.

Auburn to win it all +400

The more and more I think about it, the more I realize the winner just has to come out of the SEC. I’ve never seen a conference more impressive than the SEC was this year, and up until this month, Auburn was a force in conference play. The hype pendulum has seemed to swing more in favor of Duke and Florida recently, and I think people are forgetting just how good Auburn was this year. Louisville (if they win) scares me but after that their path to the final 4 is pretty easy to me. Michigan State is a week 2 seed in my opinion as they just don’t have the number from behind the arc to inspire confidence in me and Iowa State without Keshon Gilbert doesn’t really scare me either. I also really like taking teams after they got upset the previous year. Auburn had about as much national title hopes a 4 seed could have last year and got bounced by Yale in round one. Johni Broome and company surely havent forgotten that and will go into this tournament extra hungry.

Final 4 Bets

Wisconsin Final 4 +875

If Duke gets bounced, they are the best team in the region. I like them against BYU but I have a feeling they will be playing VCU in which case I really like them. According to Evan Miya, they stepped up their game against better competition, which felt true this year. I really think they can keep up with Alabama, and I don’t like the Crimson Tide’s defense to hold off John Tonje in the company all game. This is a different Wisconsin team than years past, and they will look to prove that.

Maryland Final 4 +900

There is no team scarier than Florida but if they can win that away from that game by either not playing them or beating them they will be heavy favorites to win their region. I’ve been betting on Maryland all year and I’ve grown to really like them. They’ve had glaring issues closing out games and Kevin Willard is known to choke but I’ve just fallen in love with the “crab five” and need a taste of the action

Sweet 16

Michigan Sweet 16 +205

I don’t give a fuck about UCSD. Michigan can figure out how to take care of the ball for one game and just dominate with their size. If Michigan doesn’t win SDSU will officially be the second-best team in San Diego somehow and I really just cant have that. And then I kind of think Yale has a great chance against A&M in which case I have Michigan at +200 to win that game which is insane value. Even if A&M wins I still like the value here.

Iowa State first three seed eliminated +225

KENTUCKY PLEASE DONT SELL ME HERE PLEASE PLEASE. I really think they could lose to Lipscomb but I also like them to lose to UNC or Ole Miss anyway. The loss of Keshon Gilbert is brutal for the Cyclones and I don’t think they will be the same at all.
