One of my favorite betting strategies is what I like to call the mass last-leg pileup. It’s simple: Over a couple of days, every pick that I would normally straight bet becomes a two-leg parlay, with the last leg being the same. I hold an Eagles SB future, which I got at +1400, so every day until the Super Bowl, I will be in last-leg pileup mode to improve my position on the birds further.
1/29 bets
Only one play today, and it’s as square as ever. Alabama ML/Eagles SB ML +330.
Bama is about to begin the most insane gauntlet of games I’ve ever seen. Going at Mississippi State, home vs Georgia, at Arkansas, at Texas, home vs Auburn, at Mizzou, home vs Kentucky, home vs Mississippi State, at Tennessee, home vs Florida, then finally on the road against Auburn (man the sec is insane this year)
I think Nate Oats knows how vital it would be to start this stretch with a ranked win on the road. and to be honest, my dumb brain can’t look at this Mississippi state team and take them fully seriously. So worst case scenario this bet will be a teaching moment for me to disassociate them as a mid/bottom feeder of the sec. This Bama offense is also so good that your bet is never really dead because they can easily catch fire at any moment.
The final $4
something I always do is when my BetOnline account gets below $5 I rip a hand of blackjack with my remaining balance, and if I win, I place a fun little bet.
It did not win. (the future of this strategy is in serious jeopardy)
Current eagles SB positions (will update each day)
- $37 at +1400 (future)
- $100 at +106
- $38 at +556 (mass last leg strategy with caps ml and eagles future before NFCCG)
Total risking $175 to pay $835.28
