Michigan -2 vs Purdue

Michigan was embarrassed in their first meeting against Purdue, being down by as much as 30 at one point. Michigan turned the ball over 22 times in that game, a mark I expect to go down at home this time. In their last meeting, Purdue got to such a big lead early that Michigan kind of ditched their game plan and took a lot of threes rather than attacking the inside with Wolf or Goldin. Purdue had 40 points in the paint compared to Michigan’s 28, which should not happen given the skill of Michigan’s big men. I tend to favor Michigan in close spots just because of Danny Wolf. Wolf is probably my favorite player in college basketball, im literally obsessed with the speed and playmaking he has at his size. I also tend to favor whoever is playing Purdue because I fucking hate Braden Smith so this is kind of an auto-bet for me.

Syracuse ML +105 @ Miami

+ money for the most sorry team in college basketball to lose? Sign me up! I don’t care that this is a long road trip for the orange, I don’t care that they haven’t really looked the same since Donnie Freeman went out for the season, I don’t care that Miami has looked a lot better in the last two games, I don’t care that every sports bettor on Twitter will probably have Miami. This Miami team is BAD! Miami only has one real win all season and I’d be shocked if they get their second today. Miami has a -1.52 Net Rtg on kenpom which is lower than some hilarious schools including Longwood, UCR, Wyoming, and Robert Morris. They are also a laughable 341st in defensive rating which makes them by far the worst power 5 team in that stat. I have 0 analysis on Syracuse and how they matchup in this game because it wouldn’t change a thing for me.

Succession can feel a lot like sports gambling in the sense that it’s full of high stakes, unpredictable outcomes, and the constant tension of guessing who will come out on top. Just like placing a bet on a team or player, fans of the show often find themselves wagering on which character will outmaneuver the others and take control of Waystar Royco. There are risks involved—strategies might fail, alliances crumble, and what seemed like a sure bet turns into a surprising twist. Both sports betting and Succession involve analyzing the game, understanding the players, and hoping your instincts or analysis lead to the win, even if it’s never guaranteed.

Chaspicks reminds me a lot of Kendall Roy from Succession. He’s a gambler through and through, always taking risks and making bold moves like Kendall, who never hesitates to put everything on the line for a chance to win big. Chaspicks has that same cool, confident attitude—he’s got a way of carrying himself that’s both charismatic and unpredictable. Whether it’s betting on a high-stakes game or making a tough decision, there’s this sense that he’s always thinking a few steps ahead, just like Kendall. He’s got that mix of swagger and edge, willing to go after what he wants, even if the odds are stacked against him.
